📸 Place Details

🏰 Baltit Fort

A 700-year-old fort perched on a cliff overlooking the valley. Restored with Aga Khan Foundation help. Inside is a museum with royal artifacts. Entry: 500 PKR. The views from the top are unreal.

🏰 Altit Fort & Royal Garden

Even older than Baltit (900+ years). Quieter, less touristy. The attached Royal Garden is a peaceful oasis with apricot trees and mountain views. Entry: 400 PKR.

🦅 Eagle's Nest Viewpoint

THE most famous viewpoint in Hunza. Panoramic 360° view of the entire valley — Rakaposhi, Lady Finger Peak, Hunza River, and Karimabad below. Free access. There's a café here for lunch with a view.

💧 Attabad Lake

Formed by a massive 2010 landslide that dammed the Hunza River. Surreal turquoise water stretching between mountains. Boat ride: 500-1000 PKR. Jetski available too (~2000 PKR). Worth every rupee.

🧊 Hopper Glacier

One of the most accessible glaciers in the world. You can drive close and walk 15-20 min to the glacier face. Fascinating ice formations. The road has rough patches but Tucson handles it.
